DIRECTIONS for I-5 heading North: Exit right onto Olive Way (#166) under downtown. Follow Olive Way as it curves up and left. Take a slight left onto Summit Ave. E just one block past Denny Way. Look for the black and white-striped awning!

DIRECTIONS for I-5 heading South: Exit right onto Stewart Street/Denny Way (#166). Follow Stewart Street and merge into the far left lane. Turn left onto Denny Way and cross the freeway. Turn Left at the thrid traffic light onto Olive Way. Make your first slight left onto Summit Ave. E. Look for the black and white-striped awning!

RULES OF THE PARLOR:

As every spunky lady knows, some rules beg to be broken (“no white shoes after Labor Day”) while others simply must be obeyed (“wash your hair once a week—whether it needs it or not!”). We don’t have many rules at the Pretty Parlor, but we hope you’ll give the few we list your full attention.

1. Regarding your Parlor purchase: You can’t just LIKE it, you have to LOVE it! (besides, Vincent says shop carefully, all sales are final)
2. Regarding attacks of indecision: When you just can’t decide, step away from the item in question and exit the Parlor door. Are you missing it yet? If you find you’re filled with longing then you and the lucky item are meant to be together in sickness and in health. We’ll be happy to set aside your beloved garment for 24 hours.
3. Regarding hours of Parlor operation: If you come by and we’re closed (when we’re supposed to be open) you’ll get 20% off your next purchase! But you must mention when you attempted to get in!

Do you share a similar passion for vintage and retro clothing? Or perhaps you have your own indie fashion label and are interested in featuring it at the Parlor? Maybe you have recently moved a loved one into an assisted living facility and don't know what to do with all of their fancy duds from yesteryear? Look no further! The Pretty Parlor is here!

1. Do you buy vintage clothing? Unfortunately, we are NOT set up to buy/sell/trade from the public. However, we DO set up appointments and/or make house calls if you are a collector, or have come into a situation leaving you with lots of fabulous vintage clothing.
2. Where do you get all your great stuff? Well, if we tell we'll have to kill you. And we really don't want to do that. Only Kidding! Estate sales, thrift shops, grandmothers and grandfathers closets alike, and a pool of talented indie designers.
3. Do you consign? We only consign with well established indie designers. If you think that your creations are a perfect match for the Pretty Parlor, then send Miss Banana an e-mail with your website link attached and/or jpeg examples of your work. She will get back to you if it's a good fit. Happy sewing!
